Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, stuck in a difficult relationship, or unsure of what comes next. Maybe you've spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you've lost touch with what you need.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be getting in your way while building practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

You can come exactly as you are. We can figure out where you want to go together.

Understand yourself. Create change. Live more fully.

What brings you here?

It's okay if you don't fit neatly into one of these. Sometimes you may just know that something isn't working anymore. Open any topic to read more.

Burnout & overwhelmWhen constantly doing, giving, and holding everything together has left you exhausted and disconnected from yourself.

You've been the one everyone can count on. But who's taking care of you?

You're capable. Responsible. Caring. You get things done, show up for the people you love, and somehow keep everything moving, even when you're running on empty. Maybe you've become so accustomed to being the strong one that you barely notice how exhausted you are. You overthink. You take on more than your share. You have a hard time saying no. You feel guilty when you rest. And somewhere along the way, your own needs have continued to move further and further down the list.

You don't have to keep living that way. Therapy can be a space where you finally get to slow down, take a breath, and turn your attention inward. It's about learning that you can care for others without abandoning yourself. You can learn to set boundaries without the guilt. You can rest without feeling like you have to earn it. You can quiet the pressure to do everything perfectly. And you can begin building a life that feels like yours again.

You don't have to carry it all alone. Less surviving. More living.

Anxiety & overthinkingWhen worry, uncertainty, or racing thoughts make it difficult to feel present and at ease.

When your mind won't give you a break.

Maybe you spend a lot of time thinking through every possible outcome. You replay conversations, second-guess your decisions, worry about what might go wrong, or find yourself constantly looking for reassurance that everything is okay. You may know logically that you're overthinking, but knowing that doesn't necessarily make it stop.

Anxiety can show up in many different ways: constant worry, racing thoughts, perfectionism, difficulty making decisions, physical tension, trouble sleeping, reassurance seeking, or feeling like you always need to be prepared for the next problem. And sometimes anxiety isn't loud at all. It can simply feel like never being able to fully relax.

You don't have to believe every thought your anxiety gives you. In therapy, we'll work together to understand what's underneath the worry and the patterns that may be keeping it going. Rather than trying to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or feeling, we'll work toward changing your relationship with them. Depending on your needs, therapy may include cognitive-behavioral strategies, anxiety-management skills, exposure-based approaches, mindfulness, and somatic techniques.

Relationships & boundariesWhen you're struggling to communicate your needs, set boundaries, or stay connected without losing yourself.

You can care about others without losing yourself.

Maybe you find yourself putting everyone else's needs before your own. You have a hard time saying no, worry about disappointing people, or feel responsible for keeping the peace. Maybe you avoid difficult conversations until resentment builds, struggle to express what you need, or constantly wonder whether you're asking for too much.

You may even know that you need better boundaries, but actually setting them can bring up guilt, anxiety, fear of conflict, or the worry that someone will be upset with you. Over time, these patterns can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, unheard, or unsure of where you end and everyone else's needs begin.

Healthy relationships don't require you to abandon yourself. In therapy, we'll explore the patterns that shape how you relate to the people around you, including people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, overfunctioning, fear of rejection, and taking responsibility for other people's emotions. Together, we'll work toward relationships that let you be connected without being consumed.

Life transitionsWhen life changes in ways you didn't expect and you're trying to figure out who you are in the middle of it.

When life changes, it can take time to find your footing again.

Some seasons of life arrive exactly as you expected. Others don't. Maybe you're starting a new chapter, navigating a move, changing careers, becoming a parent, adjusting to an empty nest, entering a new relationship, ending one, or simply realizing that the life you've built no longer feels quite right. Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief, anxiety, or a sense of losing your identity.

You may find yourself asking: Who am I now? Did I make the right decision? What comes next? There isn't always a clear answer, and that's okay. You don't have to have the next chapter figured out yet.

Therapy can give you a space to slow down and process what you're experiencing rather than feeling like you have to immediately adapt or have everything under control. Together, we'll explore the emotions, expectations, and fears that come with your transition while helping you reconnect with what matters most to you.

Self-esteem & self-worthWhen your sense of worth has become tied to what you accomplish, how others see you, or whether you feel like you're "enough."

You don't have to earn your worth.

Maybe you're harder on yourself than you would ever be toward someone else. You compare yourself to others, question your decisions, or feel like you're never quite doing enough. You may rely heavily on approval from others to feel confident, or find yourself constantly focused on what you could have done better.

Sometimes low self-esteem doesn't look like insecurity. It can look like perfectionism, overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty accepting compliments, fear of failure, or constantly trying to prove yourself. And when your sense of worth depends on how well you're performing, it can be exhausting.

Your worth is not something you have to prove. Therapy can help you explore where your self-doubt comes from and begin changing the patterns that keep you stuck in criticism and comparison, building a more compassionate and realistic relationship with yourself.

Depression & feeling stuckWhen motivation, connection, or meaning feel out of reach and you're not sure how to move forward.

When you know something needs to change, but you don't know how to move forward.

Maybe you've been feeling disconnected from yourself or from the things that used to matter to you. Getting through the day takes more effort than it used to. You may feel tired, unmotivated, overwhelmed, irritable, numb, or simply stuck. Sometimes depression looks like sadness. Other times, it looks like going through the motions while feeling like you're not really present in your own life.

When you're already struggling, being hard on yourself can make it even harder to move forward. You don't have to figure everything out before you begin.

Therapy can provide a space to slow down and understand what's underneath the feeling of being stuck. Rather than expecting yourself to suddenly feel motivated, we'll focus on manageable steps toward feeling more connected, capable, and engaged in your life.

Grief & lossWhen loss changes your world and you're learning how to live with what comes next.

Making space for what you've lost, and for the life that continues around it.

Grief can affect far more than your emotions. It can change the way you see yourself, your relationships, your routines, and even the future you imagined. You may feel sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, relief, confusion, or several of these at once. There is no single "right" way to grieve, and healing doesn't require you to forget, move on, or stop missing what mattered to you.

Loss can take many forms: the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, changes in your health or family, the loss of a role or identity, or a future that no longer looks the way you expected.

Therapy can provide a place where you don't have to minimize your grief or rush through it. Together, we can make space for what you're experiencing and find ways to care for yourself as you adjust to what has changed.

Therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong with you.

It's about understanding what's happening beneath the surface, recognizing patterns that no longer serve you, and creating space for something different.

Lynne Edwards, LPC, smiling in front of a bookshelf.

Hello, I'm Lynne.

I believe therapy works best when you don't have to filter anything you say, have the right answers, or pretend you're doing better than you are.

As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and be honest about what you're experiencing, even when you're not quite sure how to put it into words.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia since 2015, with more than 20 years of experience in mental health.

Advanced training
